Robert Ongaro and Douglas White have work that was included in the XXXIII FIDEM Congress in Sofia, Bulgaria September 2014
FIDEM, the International Art Medal Federation operates in over 40 countries. Established in 1937 it’s goals are to promote art exchanges and help artists get their work know internationally. They organize a congress every two years and an international exhibition of medallion art.
The 2014 exhibit was hosted by the National Academy of Art Sofia and displayed in the Archeological Museum in Sofia, Bulgaria. We are so proud that two of our members Robert Ongaro and Douglas White were included in this international exhibit.

92nd Annual All Media Exhibition
Four of the West Huron Sculptors entered the 92nd Annual Ann Arbor Art Center All Media Exhibit and all four were accepted. This the first year the exhibition was open to artists nationally. The juror, Marianetta Porter is a professor at the University of Michigan. She has also won numerous awards including the Smithsonian Senior Research Fellowship. We are honored to be included in this exhibition.
